We will be holding our ANNUAL PICNIC THIS Friday, August 16th - 6:00 pm. This is a time to get together and meet the band staff, Boosters executive board, and other band parents. We will also witness the debut performance of the 2024 Marching Panthers fall field show music!
Band Boosters will provide fried chicken, rolls and drinks. We ask families to bring the following:
last name A – L: Bring Salad & Dessert
last name M – Z: Bring Vegetable & Dessert
(Please bring a serving utensil for your dish!)
Thanks so much to all of you who donated snacks for camp. It really helped keep our students energized and ready to work! We will still be in need of them for the marching season so please donate when you can! We ask that the snacks for the marching season not have " cheese dust " or chocolate on them for the sake of our white uniforms please and thank you!

Good morning! I hope everyone is doing well! We are so proud of the work our young Panthers are putting into band camp this year. Please support their efforts by donating some snacks and fruit to help keep their energy up!
I will continue to share a lot of the same information to keep it at the top of your email - but I want to share some NEW news with you! One of our faithful parents, Catherine Clements, has been working hard to keep our families informed with all dates and events. Please regularly visit our MARCHING PANTHER WEBSITE to stay informed and as an added feature, please review the directions below to add our calendar to your phone! It is SO wonderful to have it accessible when planning your family's schedule.

FUNDRAISING:
We have a few fundraising events to share. There will be a lot this fall as we try to offset as much as we can from the Disney trip in January.
Water Lantern Festival: August 17th at Dorey Park. Details still to come, but we are asking for a crew of volunteers aged 15 and up to help support this amazing event to help our community remember loved ones and have a memorable experience. Our shift will run from 10:30 am - 2:30 pm and we will get paid $48 per volunteer!
Ultimate Raise - we will be repeating our fundraiser from earlier this year! The dates will be from August 26th through September 6th. We can share the link on social media and to friends and family by email. This is strictly a donation endeavor with no true "labor" involved. More details to come!
Survey Fundraiser - we will be sharing details concerning this amazing opportunity at our annual picnic - but mark your calendars to participate from September 2nd through October 1st.
Hermitage Classic:
We will be hosting our 37th Annual Hermitage Classic this year on September 28th. This is our very own marching band competition! I have attached two forms for you to share with family and co-workers to place an ad in our program. One form is for personal ads to showcase your support for a specific student or section within the band. The other form is to share with businesses to help advertise their support of our group! There will be a sign up coming soon to volunteer that day and also a form to sponsor a trophy. It's going to be an amazing day because of YOU and your support!

We have an exciting event coming this fall as a fundraiser and fun event to attend! The Annual Craft Fair is returning to Hermitage on November 30, 2024! Please share the attached registration form with anyone who sells their products / crafts at events such as this. I will be happy to answer any questions they have about the event so feel free to send them my way! We just need YOU to spread the word and help us get those vendors! We are going to have raffle drawings, concessions and an overall fun day! :-)

Hello! Welcome back everyone and welcome to our newest members as this is your first official PANTHER BEAT for this year! We will be sending out weekly reminders through this venue and as always please let us know if you have any questions! We hit the ground running this morning and have a few reminders on how to make the next few weeks the best! The Band Boosters are getting prepared for a great year, and we hope you are as excited as we are! There are a lot of ways for you to get involved with the band and we hope you will join us in supporting this great group of students. I have also attached Mrs. Steele's weekly update to make sure everyone has access to the links she shares as well.
Band Camp:
We hope the students are rested and hydrated and ready for TO BEGIN each morning at 7:00! Here are a few things for your student to remember to bring with them:
instruments
music
medical forms and payments
small towel
hat / sunglasses if desired
SUNSCREEN
drinks ( we will also provide water and Gatorade for them)
snacks
They will be receiving their drill charts - so please make sure they have them with them daily!
We are asking for donations for the camp and fall season: cases of water bottles, individually packed snacks, and Gatorade powder. If anyone is available to come during camp hours, I would love to have some help in preparing the Gatorade and ice water for them if you are free! Please reach out to me specifically about this need. Special thank you to our Boosters for providing refillable water bottles and drawstring bags for camp this year!
